Through green grass, probing for prey--
Or four-leafed clovers?

Mostly minutiae. Some strands of substance.
There is something wonderfully strange about the praying mantis, equal parts delicate elegance and formidable little predator. This post captures the kind of fascination that comes from slowing down long enough to really observe one of nature’s more extraordinary creatures.

Well said, and thanks! I watched this little fella for about 10 minutes, slowly walking from my container pond and into the grass. Mesmerizing. We all could benefit from slowing down and observing nature more.

I think slowing down is the key to everything. Even if we want to go fast or do msomething in a hurry, slowing down actually helps us attain the accelerated speed.
