Sign of the Times

I spotted this sign at the Jersey Shore on a sublime summer day a couple of weeks ago.

This sign, or something similar, can be found in any number of communities across the country or perhaps the world.

Apparently, our society has to spend time, money, and resources placing these signs in strategic and otherwise pristine locations where people frequently walk their dogs, to remind these inattentive dog walkers to pick up after their defecating canine.

C’mon people. We shouldn’t need to have signs like this to remind us of something so elementary.

Please. Get your sh!t act together.
